What Can I Write?

Xomba has two types of posts: Xombytes and Xomblurbs. Xombytes are posts that can be anything from a movie review to a how to guide or anything else that may strike your imagination. Xomblurbs are social bookmarks, which allow you to share interesting links with the rest of the Xomba community. You write out a brief, descriptive paragraph and share the URL (web address).

Do I Have To Be A Writer To Join?

Absolutely not. As much as Xomba and the rest of the world would love to hear what you have to say you don't have to write anything. But we guarantee it’ll be hard to resist once you start exploring all the great content found on this site. Until that urge becomes irresistible, you can simply create a customizable profile page to get connected with other Xomba users. Once you've joined, you can read interesting articles, leave comments, make friends and vote on the posts you like best.

With a normal Xomba account (not joining up with a referral), your ads show up 50% of the time and Xomba's 50%. If you don't have an Adsense account, 100% of the ads are Xomba's.

With a referral, 50% of the time the ads are the writer's (downline), 40% they're Xomba's, and 10% they're the referrer's (upline). When the writer doesn't have Adsense, their percentage goes to Xomba, who now gets 90%.
