It was 7:30 a.m in the morning of 13 th of June.I was trying to finish my work so that I can go for hiking.It has been almost a year that I have gone for outdoor vists.So I was excited about it.But working whole night and hiking next morning can be little bit cranky day.But I had made a mind of going because I wanted to have a summer break.
But before hiking I had a problem,I had no hiking shoes.I am not kidding.This plan was last night made up plan.So there was no way I can go at night and shop for hiking shoes.I got my hiking shoes with my prayer meeting brother called Ben King.After getting hiking shoes,we grabbed some bottles of water and snacks.Arter this shopping we had half an hour to meet everybody else.So we went to Mc Donald and grabbed some burritos and went back home to change our outfits.
We met everybody at around 10:30 a.m.We finally made a trip to Roanoke for hiking spot with the 35 ft rock on the peak named Dragon Tooth.We were pumped up with the excitement and thrill.I was kind of nervous as I had not been hiking for a year and I was kind of chubby than last time.On top of that I was tired so I was taking nap while everybody was talking to each other.Arter 1 and half hour we made to hiking spot parking lot.When we arrived there,it started raining.I thought we have to go back now.If we have went back ,I was going to sleep and if we still planned to hike I would hike which I had planned.So either way I was in the winning situation.We planned to hike and after some time it stopped raining.
Raining made the trip cool and easy but slippery.After one hour we made it to top.We climbed the rock but I did not go for top as it was quite scary.Top view was wonderful.I did not knew America is so beautiful.After than we returned to parking spot.And we left Roanoke,while we were about to reach our destination,our car was pulled over by cops for not renewing the registeration card.It was kind of funny that my friend knew about the expired registeration card but still did not renew it as he thought nothing would happen.He was fined for $86.We could see his funny face.Ok,then we arrived Lynchburg and planned to eat some kababs at kabab grill.
It was fun then we seperated from each other and one of my friend dropped me at my house but now I had other problem.I had no room key and my roommates were not there.So Ben told me with crdit card he might open the door.It sounded funny to me but had no choice.I was only concerned with my neighbours about this idea.Ben tried but he could not open the door.I was really mad as I had no place to go and I was sweaty and tired.Then suddenly we thought of trying back door.And lcuk at my hand,it was open.I know it was not a good sign but at that condition I could only thank God for that help.Then Ben left and i threw myself into bed.It was warm and sweet.Before I think of throwing my clothes,I went to deep place.
So my day started perfect and ended with memories.I wish to have other day to be same.But thanks to GOd that he made such a beautiful day and nature.I was thrilled after one year.
